on Classes To Cut

I don't (yet) have an opinion on what should/should not be cut but I can say that it is looking less likely that my daughter (now just 2 months old) will attend Portland Public Schools.  I'm the proud product of public schools and am saddened that my daughter may not follow those steps.

on Southern Oregon's Green Economy

Regarding the legality of selling drug paraphenalia (i.e. pipes), I thought that the 9th Distrcit Court Ruling of United States vs. Stoianoff made that very legal nationwide.  Why does your guest say otherwise?

on Challenges for the National Guard

My husband and I recently had a baby, and TriCare authorized a 3-day hospital stay, our primary insurer (Aetna) only authorized 2-days (we left after 24 hours though).

To the recent caller, Robert, I cannot disagree with him more about the level of care through TriCare.  My husband is US Army retired (disabled) and we have TriCare as our secondary insurer (primary insurer through our employers) and we have had EXCELLENT service from them.  All of our physicians have had no problems accepting/billing Tricare as well.

I know that your father suffered from Multiple Sclerosis.  How did that affect you growing up?  Have you considered getting involved in the MS community in the Pacific NW (one of the highest incidence rates in the US)?
