on Bracing for Bad Budget Numbers

For the past few years I used to hear the news about the bad economy which resulted to high unemployment rate because of the massive lay off and collapse of most businesses, but I think one of the major challenge among government was the threat in their budget. It's really looming to think how they could properly allocate the budget knowing that this is not sufficient. Is there any way for us to get out with the mess of budget woes. We must admit that many project will be sacrificed due to lack of proper funding the question is will the people willing to accept for such kind of inconvenience.

Stay with the positive views of the business endeavor although there might be some other factors, we just have to beat all the negative influence that will try to hinder us.

on The Garbage Business

The idea of the article is that you can get money out of garbages, yes it's true there are some existing state that make provide likelihood out of the garbage, they are segregating some of the materials and sell it to junk shops. Isn't that a great idea?It is just matter of being resourceful because that's the only thing that will save us during the times of bad economy. It isn't just prove livelihood it will could also be as source of revenue in the local economy. Those individual who are having hard time to earn money will learn to recognize the value of  personal finance. In today's economy that money is too hard to earn maybe financial literacy should have to instill.

on Cleaning up the Gulf

We had seen the effort of President Obama in trying to fix the oil leak dilemma. He had exhausted all the possible mean of addressing the traumatic dilemma that had ever happened int eh Gulf of Mexico. Maybe this is already a wake up call for the government that there's no way for them to impose a very lax regulations. BP should be responsible enough for the clean up. They are the one accountable for the said tragedy. I hope they will cooperate because many sectors had already been affected.

on Getting Back to Work

Apparently today’s job market is more competitive and more difficult than ever to navigate this is still due to the effect of the global economic collapse. Job seekers are left with no choice to the few published jobs that exist, often times competing with thousands of other applicants for the same position. That’s how challenging job hunting now. You have to be globally competitive, as competition is getting stiffer. Those who had been laid off don’t feel bitter, try to make yourself productive, starting a small business can also be a best alternative while waiting for the economy to bounce back.

on Getting Back to Work: Retraining

Retraining program is a great idea, for me it could be a great competitive edge among the company to adapt such methods for it will make every employee to be proficient and effective with theirs task and responsibilities furthermore knowing the human resources as one of the most important asset of the company success isn’t far to achieve. I would recommend most companies to do the retraining program for it will develop their employees / worker’s potential which would be a great benefit in realizing company’s triumph.

on Cleaning up the Gulf

There had been news that the oils spill mess is worst than we ever thought and yet the responsible for the clean up doesn’t show any sign of cooperation.  Perhaps you knew the company that I am talking about the- BP.  The oil spill became the world dilemma. Perhaps this is not just about the BP, although the company have the sole responsibility for the clean up  I guess as a concerned citizen we should also done our part to make a quick recovery. We should work collaboratively, because if we just wait for the BP clean up, we will going to prolong the agony of the adverse effect of the oil spill.

on Getting Back to Work: Entrepreneurs

Recession taught us to save money, we try to minimize the expenses knowing that we money is indeed hard to earn, many companies had close down, some end up with foreclosure and I salute to those which were able to survive against the impact of recession. Maybe this economic downturn will give idea among entrepreneurs to strive more for the success of the business, as much as possible they don’t want to end it to nothing after you’d give your everything. They always try to make it to a point to strive and survive,  the attitude of being innovative in trying to come out with the best idea that will sustain the business operation. Good things that amidst of the difficult circumstance that ability to combat the threat are there.

on When Unemployment Benefits Run Out

The fact that there are a lot of individual claiming for their unemeployment benefit this is a manifestation that unemployment issue had reach into alarming stage.  Give to them what they suppose to receive, the burden of being unemployed is already a stressful thing how much more if the little financial assistance   will be delayed.

on Klamath Drought

Agriculture sectors stumbled this is primary due to the effect of drought.  The presence of doubts may end up to the poor productions of crops and other agricultural products, I wish that  before the situation gets loom, the government already provided a long term solution against the threatening effect of drought. Government grants  could be in the form of cash, or irrigations stuff that will make water supply abundant. Farmers are badly needing an immediate action, let’s be united in saving the agricultural industry against the impact of drought.

on End of the Special Session

“Impose tougher regulations on lenders’’ This is what we always seek for to have a law that will supervise the pay day loan business. Payday loans are moderately regulated at present, they are likely to continue to remain under review, particularly in the current climate of tight credit availability throughout all areas of the financial markets All over the country legislatures are attempting to significantly control the payday loan market. Colorado is now joining them as well by their new HB 1351 policy. Look, I grasp where legislature is coming from, but payday advances in many cases are a final resort for individuals who can't get cash elsewhere. Trust me; individuals don't enjoy having to go borrow money that they must repay with interest. Banks don't give the alternative to loan money to individuals with bad credit and sometimes these payday advance organizations are the only means someone has to come by some emergency cash..

on Cracking Down on Heroin

Thanks for very substantial information regarding the fatal effects of heroin. The government need tot intervene in this issue and make some prohibition on it. Mergers, mergers, mergers, it is one thing we are hearing weekly in our unstable economy. Well, here is the next one; Hertz Car Rentals is getting out Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group. This Hertz Dollar Thrifty Merge is costing Hertz about $1.2 billion in cash and stock. However, the merger is anticipated to pull Hertz out of the declining slum they are experiencing for the last two years by supplying them a much larger share of the market. Hertz is also marketing to other age groups like university students, which is not traditional of auto rental companies. They are doing this to take over even a lot more of the market and possible build a clientele in places where other rental companies will not go.

on No Place to Call Home: Relatives

There are some points in our life that we seem so preoccupied with different kind of mess , financial burden, lost of someone and many other uncertainties in life but amidst of these challenges always seek the Kingdom of God and everything will settled. Have faith on Him!Not all press about Christianity have to be about Westboro Bigots or Catholic clergy going far beyond the pale of acceptable behavior. In a more optimistic vein, the Letters to God movie is debuting in theaters. Granted, some may dismiss it as too sentimental or evangelical, but that aside, the motion picture is situated on the actual events within the life of Tyler Doughtie, a young boy from the Nashville area who contracted cancer, and wrote real letters to God. (A similar theme is in Consolation of Philosophy by Boethius, a 6th century Christian facingexecution.) The boy lost his life, and his faith was a way to obtain consolation and hope to his family and friends.

on Cracking Down on Truancy

I do appreciate the effort of the school principal in being so particular with the absences or cutting class of their students, well I think they really have to think best way that will motivate their students to attend class regularly, since absenteeism will affect their academic performance. The current thing of sugar daddies and sugar mamas is not without precedent. You see, in Ancient Greece (though it was little different) when a person was young, they often would seek out a mentor of sorts, though back then, it was a person of the same sex. The current, um…"sugar" people bestow lavish gifts and so forth –in ancient times, many payday loans worth were spent on courting a person to mentor. The bulk of these relationships (women did this too) were chaste (no sex), there WAS an erotic component – the admiration of beauty of a youth. Aside from some obvious differences (hetero pairings for instance) is there THAT much difference?

on An Hour With Al Gore

I like the way Algore intervene in the issue of climate change and economic development as both of these are integral factor which lead to a progressive country. We don't have to experience a grave danger before we do the necessary action. Americans have always recognized Pulaski's heroism and the price he paid for their freedom.I had never heard of Casimir Pulaski before hearing about Casimir Pulaski Day. There's a celebration of this guy in Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and some other states – and I would say he deserves it. The guy who more or less started the US Calvary deserves a holiday at least – and he outfitted his troopers out of his own pocket – and that must have taken more than a couple payday loans worth – to see they had the best of equipment, and thoroughly pursued the cause of liberty and fighting tyranny. An honorary US Citizenship and a holiday is the least of what I'd say he's owed.

on The Economy and Domestic Violence

The recession is being blamed for an increase in domestic abuse cases, apparently economic downturn has caused grave financial problems for thousands of households across the county and compounded problems in already troubled relationships. One of the worst things for a friendship or family relationship can be asking to borrow money . (I think Mark Twain said something about that.) Borrowing money from loved ones, family, can put strains on your relationship if you fall short in repaying them – and it might be better to not take the chance if possible. You might be better off using cash advances or payday loans if you have an emergency expense, or perhaps try adjusting your budget to increase savings or cash flow – a sparser spending pattern instead of strained relations is a better outcome.

on Rebroadcast: Summer Struggles

Basically summer is best time to travel and adventure, spend quality time with your families and friends. Make the most of it Since camping trips on the peak days to go camping on (Fourth of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day) are when everyone goes (because they all have the same idea) can be fraught with the peril of full spots, you want to book ahead of time. There are some websites, like ReserveAmerica, have a database of campsites you can book. The sites can be listed by activities or amenities, so if you're traveling in an RV (that isn't camping, yuppie scum) and you don't even need to get out the credit cards or get payday loans to book spots – but gas money might be something else.

on $200 Billion Bucks

We had witnessed how the Obama administration became so eager to save the ailing economy of US from economic stimulus program down to job creation. He tried his best to recoup and refinance those companies, which are about to collapse. Anyone here knew the history of credit card? We all have to navigate the Byzantine labyrinth of credit cards at some point. Although at this point, they seem to be leaning just this side of pure evil, credit card history is actually kind of interesting. Up until the 1950s, any and all credit was specific to only one store – the grocery store, clothing store, etc. There were no payday loans; pretty much it was store credit and pawn shops. The Diner's Club Card, and the Bankamericard, later to be VISA and MasterCARD, all came about by businesses grouping together and sharing credit with customers.

on Talking Education with Richard Lariviere

Many of us will give high value to education believing that if we got the best education during college we can somehow expect of a decent job and stable future but I think in the present conditions of the economy we can say that seldom can say that education can still give them the ideal future that they’d always long for. Everyone has heard that the unemployment rate is crucial to ascertaining when the recession is over – and it's true. As long as the jobless rate remains high, and more people are in the condition of underemployment (part time vs. full time) then we won't get too far. Well, the good news is that the unemployment rate fell 2 tenths of a percent over October 2009, and the underemployment rate fell 3 tenths of a percent in the same month. It's a start – it doesn't mean fewer people need payday loans – but if this improvement becomes constant, then real recovery is not so distant.

on Coming out of Copenhagen

The climate change issue became the global concern of   most sectors, several bills and awareness programs had been conducted. Did you know that the cap and dividend bill might work, but then again it might not.  The idea, similar to cap and trade, is that permits for carbon emissions have to purchased by manufacturers and other industries, and that money will be diverted, 30% going to research for reducing global warming (hopefully) by reducing carbon emissions, and the rest will go straight back to the consumers in the form of a dividends check.  Now, the idea of everyone getting a couple of payday loans worth per year is nice, but that's going to get eaten up by increased cost of goods and services.
