I have 2 young daughters and this article scares the heck out of me! I think of what's out there online and yikes! I can't believe the ages that are engaging in sex. I'm a concerned parent already! My kids use a computer and that's scary. I'm getting them a disney netpal so at the very least I can set up good parental controls. Worth it obviously. Yikes!

Very strange indeed! I'm from Vancouver and we don't need the competition Oregon!! Ah, I think we'll be okay. There's lots of film business to go around. Seems to me that Oregon shares a lot of the same climate and scenery as Vancouver.

I think the comments here are excellent. Seems like everyone is cautious. I agree with that. The oceans don't need disruptions. Fish stocks are dropping and do they need another danger? I don't think so. The problem with wave energy is the conflict of interest. Special interest groups misleading the public as to the risks. It's very hard to get a straight story.

Very difficult situation. I live in Vancouver Canada and we have similar issues. We have a huge ESL community and we often take in foreign students. Our schools need students and we charge for ESL students. The language barrier is a problem. Very complicated and very hot political issue here in Canada. No simple solutions.
