I think sunvalley sally has identified the simtom Alovera the cause of the symptom. now what is the cure? I dont know.
The only thing I know is I think we all have to come back to reallity and realise that untill we are economically stable and prosperouse we may have to for get all the little pet projects we would like to see and the pet peaves we have and get on to reall solutions.
Bike lanes remodeling ofices and whatever else isnt really important when people dont have work and I mean work not food stamps and unemployment. When people work hard they take pride in things and we have a lot to be proud of I think in the Northwest but we need to get back to our roots and work for those things and use the resources we have while being responcible with what those resourses provide.

Actually I my hought generally are my one and I have come to them mostly from studying history and their context. I am sure I am not correct about everything but you failed to correct anything I said which means either you cant or you or dont know what you are talking about.
Generally I like to information from as many oposing sources as I can and figure it out for my self.
As for my mispellings I one am at work and can not spend forever proofreading and two probably would only find half of them anyway since I struggle to write because of a learning disability.
Oh wait does that mean my opinion is not vallid or like another post I commented on further up the paig you must consider yourslef superior to those who dont pass standardized testing and therefore we must all be stupid? Maybe I should be placed in an asylum some where since I dont meat your standards? or maybe just a re-education camp?

Isnt that really it? Arent politicians suposed to care about this country and doing what is best for it and arent the names really jsut to be a generalization of what they think not their primary concern?

You are correct when you say that it is our own fault for or lack of understanding the complexities of the issues and letting them get out of control for the last 40 or so years.
But is that because of conservativism? were we not all most all a lot more conservative for the the first 150 years and were we not much better off and did we not grow at a steady pase for the most part?
Dont tell me yeah but are you saying we should go back to having slaves. No of vourse not. but slaver wasnt a conservative thing.
It seems to me that most of these systemic isues come about from big Federal government. The founding fathers did not want no government they wanted local governemnt to be stronger so we could alll keep a better eye on it and avoid these kinds of issues.

I did not vote for president Obama but when he was relected I was happy it was not Hillary so I was looking forward to what he might do.
I realy hate to say it but she may have been better or atleased not made me want to blow my head off.
It is proven that 80-90% of people find work within a month of their unemployment running out. seems rather coinsidental doesnt it. it isnt that people do not look they hold out for what they think is the best they can get. rather than taking what they can. So 99 week and now what 150 weeks of unemployment is rediculouse.
Stimulouse that did exactly what history predicted it would do, next to nothing. Oh wait no it got us deeper in debt.
I am tired of people saying tax the rich who the hell gave you the rite to take someone elses money? I am a maintenance guy I make $30,000 a year I can barely afford my house but I dont expect other people to pay may way. I may pay little in taxes but i will keep working and when I make more I will pay more in taxes and I will donate more than I do now to charaty as well. If I ever become rich I will be because I have worked hard and earned it. Like most other people inluding my parents who imigrated here for the opertunities this counry provided before there were so many regulation and government control.
I recently read an artical that said is someone tried to start Microsoft today it would be nearly imposible because of all the regulation. How is that going to help any of us?

I hate to burst your little bubble but most civilizations that have failed though out history because of economic calaps more than famin natural disasters and anything else you want to add combined.
The rich know how to make money, and if they were really interested in stimulouse why didnt they do military spending. it has been proven over time most recently WWII that buying say a tank made in your country does basically twice the good ecinomically as does paving a road or buying a tv especially since you cant get a tv made here anymore

I think you are correct which is why the founding fathers pushed for local and stategovernment to be the driving force so we would all have greater control and could keep a better eye on all the people in both parties that have brought us to this mess.

The republicans have become more cinservative? that is interesting I have actually heared several democratic stratagists say that if JFK were to run for office today he not only could not run as a democrat because they have gone so far left and in fact would be considered too conservative to be elected as a republicn so I think it is the left that has moved.

Well two things as a human none of us know best about everything so while you may know a lot about something you do not know enoguh about everything. And in those situation it is probably people in those ignorant masses that do know soemthing.

I think not wanting to be a part of wester culture is fine if you do not live in a western country mving to a western country and then changing it is a problem.
My point was more to that you do not hear terror atacks labeled as a hate crime but isnt it?
Isnt a terror ist bombing whoever did against whomever basically saying, I hate you, or I hate your culture or whatever so I am going to blow you up? Yet if someone sais calls someone else a terrorist that is a hate crime?
I gues in general I dislike the whole hate crim thing the crime is the crime If I beat someone up because the owe me money or if I beat someone up because I do not like something about them the actions I took were wrong what does why have to do with it unless it was elf defense.
I gues what I am saying is no one wants to say that the Jihadists are commiting a hate crime but you never hear it labeled that way Why? A terror attach seems like an impersonal demeaning of the action.

The term are less and less personal and we wonder why the people with sufer more and more from them Maybe because the term is less personal and more clinical there for whe treat think clinicaly rather than remembering there are people involved who need to be treated as person not a desees or alfiction.
So why is it we are supposidly committing a hate crime but the terrorist are committing terror attacks. It makes it sound like people are atacking our system and we are attacking people but the dont knock down building they kill people.
Because of the language difference creats a feeling that they are fightins system and we are fighting people which implies a morral posative to them or a negative to us which is byass

Goggins is absolutely correct. Christians should denounce fundamentalists who use violence and muslims should do the same with Jihadists.
When you are talking about life numbers may be to some degree meaningless but there is something different about killing 10-20 people at a abortion clinik and 3,000 people. They are both wrong but claiming them to be the same thing is not rite either.

Why would you be afraid of the constitution? Weather or not you believe in god there is a very good reason it sais our rights come from god it is because our founders came from contries where rite were given and taken away by governments. If your rights come from God then they can not be taken away by government.
The constitution is rather remakable in that wren something is repealed or replace the old stuff stays in as a reminder to people of the things that were tried and failed.
The constitution has only failed such as in the case of slavery when the bill of rites was considered to be seperate thing. Had people looked at the two as one as it was meant to be. Slavery would not have ben or would have been abolished sooner.

Feel free to correct my spelling all you like it make my point no less valid. Yes there are christian extreemists as well and christian should call them out as well as muslims should do with people of their own religion.
I did not say we were perfect or that we did not have far to go. What I am saying in basically a hundred years we went from having slaves to going to other contries to try and keep people from being enslaved or killed.
Somehow in in the same time period Sheria law still want to chop off the hands off of those who steal and stone those who comit adultery. Wait is it only woman who comit addultery? or is it only woman who get stoned for it?
I thinkn there are things in everyones past we should learn from and thing s in everyone past we can be proud of none of us are perfect or even close. I think some parts of the east or muslims or how ever you want to catigorize it have not take some of the stepps we have.
Did they take stepps ahead of us two or three hundred years ago in sertian aspects of life absolutely. We took other steps forward but all still have more to go.

Also it seems to me that while that may be a part of our past as westerners we have moved on and made great stides in how we treat all people since then.
In comparison I would have to say that I do not think the musslims have move as far especially when you take into account things like seria law.
