on Surviving the Quarter-Life Crisis
This was a great program. Coming from the Baby Boomer gen, I was interested to find that things haven't changed that much... we're all human and aspiring to better things is a part of that, apparently. I wonder what the young folks think of things like Siddhartha or even the Bible? The young lady who had a military background and found that life is much better after you come to the realization that, "Life is hard, but it makes you stronger when you face it straight on" (paraphrased) was very wise. Somewhere I read that neurosis is the result of attempting to avoid experiencing emotional pain, where mental health is accepting that pain comes with living and not letting that keep you from fully experiencing life. My favorite phrase... "It's all good."
