on Water: From the Bottle or the Tap?
My in-laws give bottled water to their dog! They live in Phoenix and say their tap water is too poor to drink. Any suggestions of steps they can take to improve their water? Is their bottled water habit any safer for them?

I dont even eat canned foods anymore because of the plastic lining. I feel that we are making ourselves sick with all of these chemicals and wont know it for 20 years. Our grandkids will think "I can't believe people used to use those chemicals!" the same way we are horrified by arsenic for example.

Not eating meat is not a way of avoiding population growth. It is one of many ways to help the planet. Only looking at population is a narrow way to see the future. Or miss it. You should read Peter Russel.

I am tired of people without children acting superior for their sacrifice they make to the planet. I believe consumption is more important. Try not eating meat!
