on Free Speech or Hate Speech?

I really appreciate your well reasoned response and how you address the fine line that this flier walks. I did see it and it was not necessarily offensive in its contents.  It simply addressed "white achievements" and the idea that white people should be proud of those achievements.  Nothing in the flier promoted violence or advocated against any other group.  However, there was a link on the flier and an invitiation to visit the organizations website, nsm88.  The site is where the hate and violence come through.  While never stated directly, the site advocates for a "white nation" and the forcible removal of anyone who doesn't agree with/follow their ideals or who doesn't fit in their mold (namely white).

I agree that it is proper to provide constitutional rights to all and I am with you.  They should have a right to speak their mind and their opinions.  That is protected.  However, this group doesn't value or believe that ALL citizens of the US should have those rights.  As long as they see others as less then they are, and they frame their argument in a way that places others below them, they will continue to be angry and see themselves as victims of a racist conspiracy.

I wish everyone believed as you do!
