on Contrasting Coverage

The coverage of these cases are different because of America's denial of its contemporary religion, Capitalism. They are the same acts, attempted or completed, Murder for the highest reward. Money for Capitalists, Glory for Islamists.

on How to Talk to Kids about Sexual Offenders

Nap time is almost over, just wanted to make a quick comment on the healing process-  for children and adults, finding therapy is truly healing. Massage Therapy, from someone who you can trust, can change and heal profoundly, as the issue/occurance is about touch. The body will hold onto the pain indefinitely without this kind of healing. Be present when your child is worked on so you can learn about what works to heal them, to assure them, and you.

best of luck to you all

on How to Talk to Kids about Sexual Offenders

I have heard comments from parents today about transients, drug users, and the insane. Let's not forget that one of the largest cases of sexual abuse in America is happening now. The offender is a PEDIATRICIAN.

on How to Talk to Kids about Sexual Offenders

As a child care provider and parent I work to instill from moment one an understanding of body boundaries and rights by non-verbal respect and actions when cleaning, changing, etc.. When they are capable of understanding verbal cues I make it clear with language and practicing actions to protect themselves.

That said, it is the care provider and parents job to follow their own intuition and research to keep children in safe situations.

I believe the language and actions needs to be started as soon as possible. From birth respect of physicality teaches boundaries and how we should be respected by others.

on Sex Ed

sex is seen and promoted as the ultimate adult activity, what young person doesn't want to do what we all do? to make it a mistake the teen is making is not taking resposibility for the world we bring them into. sex is real, it's what we do. we teach kids more about our world and activities to keep them safe and informed so they are empoyered to make good healthy choices.

on Red Light Cameras

My first tickets driving, at 16, were for failure to stop at a red light. I have learned from those tickets and drive within the laws now as an adult.

I believe funding put towards education, rather than supporting the infrastructure of government, would increase safe driving. Seeing the accidents and results of car crashes would change minds faster than hitting our wallets.

Use the videos to educate.

on Taking Shots

vaccines are great, the idea of creating immunity to an illness. the issue is thermeresol, the preservative for the vaccines and its mercury base. when a new form of preservation is created, one that is non toxic, people will be more likely to vaccinate.

on Fighting for Primetime

thank you all at think out loud for putting me on twice today!! I want to say I support the physical participation in athletics- including martial arts. The issue I am fighting is violence on television. As a surivivor of domestic violence, and a mother of a 2 year old son- I am fighting the good fight against violence in my home. No TV at our house!

regulated or not, the promoters on this show are not taking responsibility for the real life results of the violence being portrayed by them on television.
