If Obama didn't work fast now, when the Republicans come into control of the House, unemployment wouldn't be extended and unfunded tax breaks would be universal. As for jobs creation, when business owners see productivity go up as it has, why would they want to hire more workers?  Capitalists would rather have a smaller work force to increase their profits.  Unemployment continues high due to their greed, not because of Obama policies.
