Why in the world is it even legal for health insurance to be provided by for-profits? It seems to me that this is something that should be done by nonprofits if we do not have a govt run single payer system. There should also be a limit on what the execs can get in compensation.
It was a real tragedy, in my opinion, when the govt allowed Blue Cross et al change from nonprofit to for profit.

How do we know what the standards for a head coach should be? Are these spelled out and evidence-based? If so, then the process of assessing the match between them and the job applicants' attributes would at least look a bit more straight forward.

Please do not be so disingenuous as to say you want the coaching staff to reflect the makeup of the university student body unless you are hoping to have women service in over half the coaching positions to which the proposed law applies.

Just what are the balances in the 'rainy day' funds we think can help in financially difficult times? Did they take a hit in the market? Would it be wise to stop using the kicker as hard times do come?
