I got to agree with you except on the gas tax.... i drive a large 150. but the removal of child tax credits i have wrote to the president, my rep, and senators. They like the president seem to feel that we are wrong and the tax credit should be increased

though Google has employed some people in The Dalles, they are mostly lower income jobs like security guards etc. The Majority of people that work at google commute from troutdale. Overall Google gets a :( for supporting local community activities, schools, and infrastructure. but hey the few people that did get highered got good jobs so atleast some people beneifited.

I would be willing to bet that the reason we have not seen a decline in the availibility of meth is due to the pourus southern border. untill we stop illegal imigration the scourge of drugs will always be with us. remember that is how the drug lords where paying for there wars down there just a few months ago.

taxes pay for the services we want from our government and are nessicary. I will be voting yes on the increases. Living in wasco county with a sister in law that is a teacher in the area I have seen what has become of our local school system.... it is terrible.
I would propose to remove tax credits for children as well. Afterall the people who are causing the burden on our government and lives are also the ones getting the tax breaks. remove the tax credits for children and ensure it only goes to education and these taxes would not even being discussed.

but if you are in an accident and hurt badly taken to the emergency room without healthcare you will owe too much in healthcare bills when you leave with the work lost because of your time in the hospital you will default on your home and be a bigger burden on me and my tax dollars. that is how they justify it and...... they are right

If the bill does not include a public option it is an epic fail. I think this whole problem could have been avoided if we enforced antitrust laws.... if AIG was too big to fail what happens when these huge healthcare companies fail

Why aren't we asking ourselves.... DO we really need to grow? growth is not always good and will not be good for any part of oregon. we should just tell people from out of the state that sorry we are full there is no room unless you are bringing job then kick rocks. If we absolutely have to grow it should be up and NEVER out- Keep Oregon green.

PTSD has numerous characteristics not just rewiring of aggressive behavior but other areas as well that could put wrong portions of the brain in the enviroment. This is why it is so hard to prove to the VA you have the condition...... 5 years plus for me even though plenty of psychairist have said its there. It will should never be a valid defense it should possibly be something considered in sentancing but should not deter a person from going to the pen for murder or getting the death penalty
