I've changed my attitude about the police because they have to tolerate a lot of bad behavior, bad attitudes, and dangerous situations posed by life alert systems for seniors the public they are responsible to serve and protect.

I don't condone the mistakes the Portland police have made. I hope they learn from their mistakes and remain responsive to the needs of the public. I commend the Portland police for doing a difficult job under difficult circumstances.
