I am a Clark College Student, and I am absolutely frightened of these people.  I've encountered people from various parts of the south where I'm from, that share these ideals as the people that are responsible for those fliers.  I came up here to get away from people like these, only to see that they are trying to spread their idealisms and hate up here now.  

I saw that nothing was to be done, no research was put into these fliers as they were just seemingly put out without much consideration.  How can we feel safe?  How can we be sure that these people aren't going to do something rash?  

I've endured beatings and verbal abuse by people like this.  it's not fair.  I thought I came to a safe place.  apparently, I was wrong.  However, I want to help make this campus a safe place.  It's ultimately the administration that establishes and enforces safety of all diversity, But it will be up to we, the students, to let these people know that this is not okay.  The administration must have our backs, though.  Without their support, the meaning of diversity to Clark College may as well mean nothing.
