on The Big Bad Wolf?
If it's not too far off subject I'd like to know when wolves are expected to arive in the Mt. Hood National Forest area. I think it would be great for them to be able to return to their native habitat, but as someone who spends time in the area I'd just like to know that they are there.
I agree with wes44 that wolves are beautiful and I would add fasinating animals.

on Battling Over Birth?
Ms. Scholles needs to understand that the reason Ms. Adams breach story was a disaster is that the "clients" failed to understand that if a physcian hadn't stepped in there child probably wouldn't have made it. Also her statement that the "clients" are capable of making decisions is quite disturbing. There is a reason the infant mortality rate is lower today than it has been thorough-out history, DOCTORS & SCIENCE. Midwives are dangerous.

on Left Behind
In Sept. 1995, at the begining of my junior year of high school, on my 17th birthday, my dad dissapeared on Mt. Hood and was never found. Needless to say it was impossible for me to care about school. I tried a tutor and an alternative school but it took a few years before I was serious enough to finish anything. Fortunatly I have now gotten a GED and completed a two-year program at Clackamas Community College.

on The Efficiency Factor
Please don't fill your tires to the maximum pressure stated on the tire sidewall, while this may save a tiny amount of fuel, it will cause your tires to wear out faster causing you to have to buy new tires sooner, which I'm sure creates a lot of carbon when they are manufactured and transported. Instead fill your tires to the manufacturer's suggested pressure and do it when your tires are cold (driven less than 1 mile in 2 hours and not having been sitting in the sun).
