About OPB

At the center of a uniquely engaged Northwest culture is OPB - the region's single most trusted source of local journalism. OPB is the hub of a community that thrives on dialogue, public involvement, respect and a love for this place we call home.

As a premier public media organization in the United States, we know that our success depends on how we serve the people who live here.

We create key local and national content on multiple platforms. We develop new ways to engage people through the media. And we do it all with a singular Oregon style and perspective.

We're Proud of Our Work

OPB produces several programs aired nationally on PBS including History Detectives and Time Team America. Producing high-quality, effective educational media productions is another way that OPB serves our community. OPB also operates, houses and programs KMHD Jazz Radio in partnership with Mount Hood Community College, which holds the license.

As the most-used public media service per capita in the nation, OPB's exceptional work is widely recognized, including through Peabody and Alfred I. DuPont-Columbia University Awards.

We are growing. Consider joining us. Visit our Careers Page for current opportunities.
