- Master Control Operator
- Position: Part-time (on-call) position
- Compensation: $14.51/hour - $21.77/hour
- Primary Duties / Responsibilities: Perform functions and activities required maintaining an efficient and accurate disbursement and broadcast of program materials. The Operator must execute this in a precise and aesthetic manner in compliance with prescribed schedule and FCC guidelines.
- Working Conditions: Normally works indoors in a TV technical center setting. May be required to work extended periods of time without leaving the work area. Flexible work schedule because of broadcasting materials and events. Regular need to lift videotape and other program materials to heights of five feet and above.
- Qualifications:
Required:- Experience as a broadcast master control operator. Familiarity with TV Broadcast automation systems and video servers.

- Legal Assistant
- Position: Full-Time, Regular Status position
- Compensation: Salary, plus benefits package.
- Primary Duties / Responsibilities: The Legal Assistant will perform a variety of paralegal, clerical and administrative duties in support of the Director of Legal Affairs. The primary focus of the position is general legal support with an emphasis on the preparation and administration of stock footage licenses and program licenses, tracking and occasional preparation of agreements with independent contractors, and assistance with the development of rights management and document management systems.
- Working Conditions: Standard office environment.
- Necessary skills:
- Legal Assistant experience preferably in the Entertainment or Communications industries; experience working with a broadcast or cable network or film or video production company and/or experience in licensing copyrights.
- Proficient PC knowledge; adept at using Word and Excel. Experience with Access or similar database software is a plus.
- Experience in the administrative aspects of preparing contracts is preferred.
- A familiarity with database administration or rights management systems is a plus.
- Qualifications:
Required:- BA/BS degree or three (3) years of Legal Assistant experience. This position requires strong planning, organizational and problem solving skills, keen attention to detail, and the willingness to take initiative where appropriate. Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication and relationship building skills, as well as the ability to concurrently manage multiple projects with a minimal amount of supervision.

- Director of Foundation and Governmental Fundraising
- Position: Full-Time, Regular Status position
- Compensation: Salary, plus benefits package.
- Primary Duties / Responsibilities: Secure local and national foundation and governmental grants to support OPB operations, programs, and campaigns. Lead proposal development activities, working with key constituencies within OPB. Work with the Senior Vice President of Development, the Vice President of National Production, and others, to establish priorities for foundation grant requests. Actively research and write proposals to foundations and governmental granting agencies. Cultivate relationships with local and national foundations and participate in other development related activities. Oversee the work of the Foundation Relations and Grants Manager.
- Working Conditions: Typical office environment to include: extended periods of sitting at a desk, including use of a computer. This position will also require occasional regional and national travel to meet with prospective funders.
- Qualifications:
Required:- BA/BS in journalism, social sciences, or related field.
- Five years progressively responsible experience in grant writing or fundraising including research, proposal development and writing.
- Excellent communication skills (oral/written) and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Proven successful experience securing significant grant funding from major foundations.
- Experience cultivating relationships with foundations and government agencies.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and competing priorities within a collaborative environment.
Preferred:- Public broadcasting experience.

- Reporter/Producer
- Position: Full-time, regular status. This position will be located in Bend, OR.
- Compensation: Salary plus benefits package.
- Primary Duties / Responsibilities: Gather information, report and produce news stories about issues in central and eastern Oregon. Additional duties related to news programming may include scheduling and conducting interviews, planning and executing news series or documentaries, recording and editing material on a digital audio workstation, and contributing to departmental planning efforts. Represent OPB at community functions as needed.
- Working Conditions: Most of the work is done in an office or studio. Some field work is required for newsgathering, which may include travel to remote locations, working evenings or weekends, and working in inclement weather. Lifting and carrying equipment is sometimes required. Some extended periods of standing and walking may be required. In-state travel is common, some out-of-state travel may also be necessary.
- Qualifications:
Required: BachelorŐs degree in Journalism or related field, plus five years full-time professional journalism experience. Excellent written and verbal skills; professional on-air experience as a reporter; ability to write and produce effectively under deadline; demonstrated ability to use digital audio recording and editing equipment.
