National Promotion Services
Congratulations — PBS or APT has agreed to distribute your program to the public broadcasting system! Now, on to the next challenge: creating a promotional campaign designed to maximize national viewership of your show.
Developing all of the promotional materials required by PBS and APT, and coordinating with all of the local public broadcasting stations, can be tricky and time-consuming — so why not hire an expert?
OPB National Promotion Services has implemented successful promotional campaigns for The New Heroes, History Detectives, The Open Road, Mustard Pancakes, Raising Cain and many more national public broadcasting programs. We’ll serve as your liaison with the public broadcasting system, producing high-quality promotional materials and ensuring maximum carriage of your program nationwide.
OPB offers producers any or all of the services below. Please contact Dave Davis, vice president of National TV Production, at email@example.com to design a package that best meets your needs.
Basic Promotional Deliverables for PBS/APT
PBS and APT require that program producers provide them with some very specific promotional deliverables.
OPB National Promotion Services has expertise in preparing these materials and serving as your liaison to the public broadcasting system. We will help you navigate the promotion waters with ease and be your strongest advocate. Much of the basic package is acting as your main liaison between you and PBS or APT, the 349 stations, press and viewers.
Once PBS or APT has agreed to offer your program to the public broadcasting system, you still need to have a thoughtful dialog with stations around your program. OPB National Promotion Services can develop and manage your station carriage campaign.
OPB National Promotion Services will develop an integrated media campaign designed to increase viewership of your program.
OPB National Promotion Services will develop an outreach campaign designed to reach the populations most affected by the issues raised in your program and encourage citizens to effect change in their communities.
