Growler USA, the PSU area's spot for craft beer and food, presents a new series of free, all-ages live jazz events, featuring PSU music students and alums, as well as touring musicians like blues musician Mary Flower and Chris Phillips' soul-jazz organ trio. View all dates of this series below.

1/16 The Courtney Freed Quartet

The Courtney Freed Quartet plays the hot danceable swing jazz music of the 20's-50's.   



1/17 Miguel Hernandez Quartet

From Upstate New York, Miguel Hernandez blends the sounds of East Coast groove music with West Coast soul, jazz, and hip-hop. A contemporary mix of originals and covers.


1/23 The Robbie Laws Band

Robbie Laws is an award-winning, internationally recognized blues guitar master.


1/24 Plutons

Chris Phillips' soul/jazz/blues organ trio with Jason Butterworth's silky Grant Green inspired guitar licks, and Justin Calhoun's "boom-bap" styled drums.


1/30 PSU's Finest: Joseph Mammarella & Enzo Irace

Jazz fusion duo. The last Thursday of every month, Growler showcases music by current PSU music students, faculty, and alums.
