Portland police officers reopened Pioneer Courthouse Square after taking a woman into custody for allegedly making a bomb threat inside a Chase Bank nearby Wednesday evening.
Police had shut down a six-block area to pedestrians and vehicles around 6 p.m. A police spokesperson said they found no explosive devices and that there was no ongoing threat to the area.
MAX lines were briefly disrupted, but resumed regular service shortly after the incident.
