Pioneer Square Reopens After Alleged Bomb Threat At Nearby Bank

Portland police officers reopened Pioneer Courthouse Square after taking a woman into custody for allegedly making a bomb threat inside a Chase Bank nearby Wednesday evening.

Police had shut down a six-block area to pedestrians and vehicles around 6 p.m. A police spokesperson said they found no explosive devices and that there was no ongoing threat to the area.
