Hillary Clinton Plans Book Tour Visit To Portland

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton plans to visit Portland, Oregon, on Dec. 12 to promote her new book "What Happened."

The memoir, which publishes Sep. 12, will detail Clinton's personal views and experiences during the contentious 2016 presidential election.

In addition to detailing "the mistakes she made" during the election, promotional materials for the book indicate Clinton will offer her take on connections between the Trump campaign and Russia.

"[Clinton] lays out how the 2016 election was marked by an unprecedented assault on our democracy by a foreign adversary," according to the book summary.

Clinton is scheduled to speak at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland during the tour. Pre-sale tickets for the event go on sale Sep. 6.

Clinton also plans a stop at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle on Dec. 11.
