Kurds Speak Out Against Trump's Pullout Decision In Syria


President Trump continues to defend his decision to withdraw U.S. troops from northern Syria. Analysts say that it will open the door for Turkey to strike Kurdish forces, longtime U.S. allies in the fight against ISIS.

Here & Now‘s Robin Young gets reaction from Najmaldin Karim, president and founder of the nonprofit Washington Kurdish Institute, who is also running to be the governor of the disputed Kurdish region in Iraq.
