A day after dropping more than 1,000 points, the Dow rebounded Friday morning along with other indexes. Analysts cited concerns about inflation and ballooning government debt for the earlier drops.

Early in Friday’s trading session, the Dow Jones industrial average was up 187 points, or 0.8 percent, the S&P 500 was up 26 points, or 1 percent, and the Nasdaq index was up 67 points, also 1 percent.
