Tuesday April 24 is the last day to register to vote in Oregon’s May primary election.
It's an election with contests for key local and statewide seats and measures, including a Republican gubernatorial primary and a Supreme Court primary.
It's also the last day for voters to change their party affiliation. That applies to people who want to vote in Democratic or Republican primaries.
Registration cards must be postmarked by April 24 or submitted online no later than 11:59 p.m. Tuesday. Ballots will be mailed to voters starting April 25.
Next month’s election is May 15.
