A crazy week of Oregon weather will come to a fitting end with the largest blizzard of the season beginning Friday.

The storm will bring another chance for Willamette Valley snow in Portland and Salem Friday night, before dumping 20 to 38 inches on Cascade Mountain roads during the weekend.

“We’ve got a lot of moisture coming in, and when you combine that with these really cold temperatures, you’re going to get snow,” National Weather Service meteorologist David Bishop said.
