Steve Kimes is a Mennonite pastor who is deeply involved with homeless camps in Gresham and Portland.

Since Mayor Charlie Hales basically sanctioned public camping in Portland, Kimes has been helping homeless people on the Springwater Corridor, a trail that runs from Portland to Boring.

OPB All Things Considered host Kate Davidson spoke with Kimes, asking him what he wants to see happen between now and September. Listen to their conversation by clicking play in the audio player at the top of this article.
