A judge Tuesday ordered Jason Patrick, one of the former occupiers of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, to remain in custody until his trial.
Patrick was appealing an earlier ruling that denied him pretrial release.
In Tuesday’s ruling, federal judge Anna Brown said Patrick was a danger to the community. Patrick is from Georgia.
After the arrests of occupation leaders Ammon and Ryan Bundy in late January, Patrick assumed a leadership role. He surrendered to the FBI Wednesday, Jan. 27.
