We’ve teamed up with Banana Stand Media this spring to premiere a series of videos recorded in and around Portland featuring Oregon-based musicians. Like opbmusic, Banana Stand is celebrating their 10th anniversary this year. In that decade, they’ve recorded and released nearly a hundred live concert albums from (mostly) local musicians and expanded rapidly into the realm of video production in recent years. Now, the DIY production company is one of the most prolific documentarians of Portland’s robust music scene.

The latest video in this series features a stripped-down acoustic performance from loungey rocker and soundman to the stars Boone Howard. This track, “Pin It Down,” appeared on Howard’s fantastic 2017 solo debut, “The Other Side Of Town.”

Howard has a gig at Al’s Den on May 14 in Portland along with There Is No Mountain.

“Pin It On” was performed by Boone Howard and was recorded April 12th, 2017 in Portland, Oregon. The video was shot and edited by Darren Hartman. Audio for this video was recorded and mixed by Matt Thomson.
