Today opbmusic becomes an official partner with music video platform VuHaus. VuHaus is a new collaboration between leading public radio music sources like opbmusic. It’s where you’ll find our new studio and soundcheck session videos — and a place to find more bands you will love, curated by stations KCRW/LA, KEXP/Seattle, KXT/Dallas, KUTX/Austin, WXPN/Philadelphia, WFUV/New York and The Bridge/Kansas City. VuHaus builds on the expertise and deep knowledge of each of these stations in their music communities, to share the best music with the rest of the country. Today we’re sharing brand new video of Portland band Y La Bamba, as they played a concert on the rooftop of Revolution Hall, in the twilight.
In addition to VuHaus, opbmusic is beginning a new partnership this month with Salem-area station KMUZ to provide Mid-Valley listeners with opbmusic programming overnights. Six opbmusic DJs will host the simulcast shows, with our eclectic mix of new and Northwest music, from midnight to 6am nightly on KMUZ.
KMUZ is a community radio station with studios in Salem and a variety of music, entertainment and talk programs hosted by a team of volunteer staff.
Tune in to 88.5 and 100.7 FM, in the Salem/Mid-Valley area to listen. The first opbmusic broadcast on KMUZ will begin at midnight Monday, November 16th.
