Win Tickets to Trampled by Turtles and Deer Tick at the Zoo

Trampled by Turtles frontman Dave Simonett got the idea of forming a bluegrass and folk-rock band after car thieves stole much of his rock band’s gear, and he decided to take a break to play acoustic music. Challenging themselves to learn old fiddle tunes and bluegrass music, the band found a home writing original music inspired by songwriting heroes Bob Dylan and Townes Van Zandt.

Trampled by Turtles released their 9th release, “Life is Good on the Road,” in early May. They’ll play at the Oregon Zoo Friday June 29 at 7pm, with an opening set from Deer Tick. We’re giving away tickets to that show. Enter below for your chance to win.
