We’ve teamed up with Banana Stand Media this spring and summer to premiere a series of videos recorded in and around Portland featuring Oregon-based musicians. Like opbmusic, Banana Stand is celebrating their 10th anniversary this year. In that decade, they’ve recorded and released nearly a hundred live concert albums from (mostly) local musicians and expanded rapidly into the realm of video production in recent years. Now, the DIY production company is one of the most prolific documentarians of Portland’s robust music scene.
The latest video in this series features Portland rock band Fanno Creek. This performance of “No Name” was recorded in front of a live audience in the basement of the Banana Stand house.
“No Name” was recorded on June 18, 2016 in Portland, Ore. The video features footage from camera operators Michael McInerney, Darren Hartman, Guy Wagner and Ryan Douglass and was directed and edited by Michael McInerney. Audio for this video recorded by Gabe Seavello and Tim Shrout, mixed by Gabe Seavello and mastered by Matt Thomson.
