We’ve teamed up with Banana Stand Media this spring to premiere a series of videos recorded in and around Portland featuring Oregon-based musicians. Like opbmusic, Banana Stand is celebrating their 10th anniversary this year. In that decade, they’ve recorded and released nearly a hundred live concert albums from (mostly) local musicians and expanded rapidly into the realm of video production in recent years. Now, the DIY production company is one of the most prolific documentarians of Portland’s robust music scene.

The latest video in this series features a sparse pop song called “Echo” from songwriter Jessica Boudreaux. The track was also included on her solo debut, No Fury, which came out in late 2017.

You may know Boudreaux from her other (much louder) guitar rock project, Summer Cannibals, who have a string of dates in California this June opening for Ted Leo.

Jessica Boudreaux will be DJing at Everyday Music in downtown Portland at 12 pm on April 21 for Record Store Day.

“Echo” was performed by Jessica Boudreaux and was recorded September 17th, 2017 at Jackpot! Recording Studio in Portland, Oregon. The video was shot and edited by Darren Hartman. Audio for this video was recorded and mixed by Larry Crane.
