When Horse Thief recorded their debut record, 2014’s Fear In Bliss, the band had only been together for six months. “We didn’t really know how each other worked [together] fully yet,” lead singer Cameron Neal admitted to opbmusic’s Matthew Casebeer during the rock group’s recent visit to the OPB studios in Portland. Two years of virtually non-stop touring has dramatically changed that dynamic. And now, the seasoned Oklahoma City-based group are poised to release their sophomore LP titled Trials and Truths on January 27th, a mature effort that benefits from a more methodical songwriting approach.
