For Pickathon’s 20th season last August, the festival brought over veteran Boise rockers Built to Spill for a headlining slot, and performances on both the festival’s open-air main stage, and its more intimate, forested Woods Stage. Doug Martsch and the band are a rare Northwest act with a history even longer than the festival’s and they dug deep into their catalog for songs from 1997’s “Perfect From Now On,” and, to close the set, “Car” from 1994’s “There’s Nothing Wrong With Love.”

Every month this year, opbmusic presents songs recorded live at the Pickathon Woods Stage. These videos are hand-picked by opbmusic to showcase some of the festival’s most exciting performances. Pickathon returns on Aug. 2-4 in Happy Valley, Oregon, with a lineup that features Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Khruangbin, Lucius, and Fruit Bats.
