“Think Out Loud” candidate conversation will air on OPB Radio, OPB TV and online
OPB’s daily radio program Think Out Loud, will host a debate among six candidates running for mayor of Portland this Friday, March 25 in the OPB studio. The debate will broadcast live on OPB Radio from noon to 1 p.m., and will also air on OPB TV on Monday, March 28 at 10 p.m.
Think Out Loud host David Miller will moderate the debate among six candidates—Jules Bailey, Sean Davis, Sarah Iannarone, David Schor, Jessie Sponberg and Ted Wheeler. He will ask them a variety of questions related to the topics of homelessness, transportation, policing, affordability and the future of the city.
The community is encouraged to submit questions for the candidates to Think Out Loud that could be read live on air during the debate. Questions can be submitted by calling (503) 293-1983 and leaving a recorded message, or via voice memo on a mobile device that can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Questions can also be submitted via twitter to @OPBTOL or on the Think Out Loud Facebook page.
In addition to airing on OPB Radio and OPB TV, the debate can also be streamed online and through the OPB News app at noon on March 25. Following the live radio broadcast, the debate will be rebroadcast at 8 p.m. on OPB Radio, online at opb.org/thinkoutloud and will replay throughout the month on OPB TV (check local schedule).
