OPB’s daily radio program Think Out Loud will be hosting a live 8 p.m. broadcast of the show Thursday, December 11 at Rontoms in Portland to discuss various aspects of pot in 2015. Now that Oregon is part of a small group of four states that has legalized marijuana, the community is invited to attend this town hall-style event to join a conversation that explores the following issues and more:

  • How will legalized pot change Oregon’s culture?
  • Will marijuana use become more socially acceptable?
  • Should Oregon end its medical marijuana program when recreational pot becomes available?

Think Out Loud Host David Miller will talk with experts from Oregon and Washington, along with members of the audience during this live event. The program will also be rebroadcast on Friday, Dec. 12 at noon on OPB Radio.

The town hall is free and open to the public (those under the age of 21 are not permitted due to venue). For more information, visit www.opb.org/pottownhall
