- The nonprofit coordinated care organization FamilyCare announced last month it will close on Jan. 31. FamilyCare provides insurance to about 113,000 Oregon Health Plan members in the Portland area. Mental health care and addiction treatment providers say FamilyCare’s closure may force them to shut down clinics. The Lund Report’s Courtney Sherwood explains the closure and physician Bryan Schwartz and psychologist Brad Larsen-Sanchez tell us how it will affect their clinics.
