Located in Northwest Portland, Blue Sky is an exhibition space that features international, national and local photographers. Founded in 1975 as the Oregon Center for the Photographic Arts, the gallery’s mission is to, “Create a dialogue among artists and between artists and the public and to leave a concrete permanent record of their work through print and digital publications.”

Christopher Rauschenberg, the co-founder of Blue Sky, will discuss the past, present and future of photography especially in Oregon, along with the gallery’s recent involvement in “Darkroom to Digital’, an Oregon Art Beat special airing on October 16th at 8pm on OPB TV.
