Portland filmmaker Brian Lindstrom’s new documentary “Mothering Inside” focuses on a parenting program at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility, a women’s prison in Wilsonville. Since 2010, the Family Preservation Project has taught inmates parenting skills and coordinated bi-monthly visits with their children and caregivers. Last year, the Oregon Department of Corrections decided to cut funding for the program, which will likely end later this year.
A “Mothering Inside” screening will be held on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 7:15 p.m. at the Hollywood Theater.
