  • Inspired by The Oregonian/OregonLive’s investigation into Portland Public Schools’ handling of sexual misconduct allegations, Lincoln High School students reported on how their school handles complaints about inappropriate behavior by teachers. Student journalists Jamie Bikales and Sagarika Ramachandran tell us about their story, “Abused and Afraid.”
  • A 1985 companion album to Ursula Le Guin’s novel “Always Coming Home” has just been re-released. Avant garde composer and analog synthesist Todd Barton collaborated with Le Guin, spending time at her Northern California ranch, to create the music and ethnography of Le Guin’s fictional future civilization, the Kesh.
