  • Portland State University will offer a bachelor’s degree in Indigenous Nations and Native American studies this year. It’s the first of its kind in Oregon. We’ll hear what this means from Ted Van Alst, the director of the program.

 

  

 

  

  • A report released this week from a progressive think tank found that public school teachers in Oregon earn less than private sector workers with similar levels of education and experience. The Oregon Center for Public Policy’s analysis controlled for teachers’ time off in the summer by comparing weekly wages rather than annual income. Policy analyst Daniel Hauser joins us to discuss the findings.
