Rick Bartow is not known for a specific artistic medium. His works span painting, drawing, charcoal and sculpture, and all will be on display at a new exhibit opening this weekend at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art in Eugene. Bartow still lives in his hometown of Newport, on the coast. He is a member of the Wiyot tribe of Northern California, and has always had close ties with the Siletz tribe of Oregon.
