  • Oregon Historical Society executive director Kerry Tymchuck, “Marketplace” acquisitions editor Eve Epstein and former Portland city commissioner Steve Novick join us to talk about some of the biggest stories of the week.

 

  • Oregon’s only Republican in Congress, Greg Walden, joins us to talk about his support for the Federal Communications Commission’s decision to end “net neutrality” with a vote on Thursday. Earlier in the week, we heard from Democratic Oregon Sen. Ron Wyden, who opposes the FCC’s decision.

 

  • Rep. Earl Blumenauer of Oregon has set his sights on reforming the policy that shapes our nation’s agricultural landscape: the Farm Bill. The trillion-dollar piece of legislation is due for reauthorization next year. Blumenauer has introduced his own version: the Food and Farm Act.
