• A species of moth native to Eurasia has been released to stop the spread of the invasive rush skeletonweed in Southern Oregon. Joel Price, a biological control entomologist for the Oregon Department of Agriculture, tells us about the moth and how the ODA uses biocontrol to stop the spread of invasive weeds.

 

  

  • Green Hop, Portland’s first hip-hop-themed dispensary, opened last weekend. Its owners, Karanja Crews and Nicole Kennedy, have also started a mentorship program to bring more African Americans into the cannabis industry. Crews and Kennedy join us.
