The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) voted Thursday to approve a policy known as net neutrality, requiring service providers to treat all Internet traffic in the same way. The policy also gives the FCC a new kind of regulatory authority over high-speed Internet service by classifying it as a public utility.

We’ll talk with Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR), who has been a proponent of net neutrality, to get his reaction to the vote.
