General practice doctor Pamela Wible has run her own clinic in Eugene for more than 13 years. One of her main missions is raising awareness of the prevalence of physician suicide.
- In May of 2017, online magazine Thrillist picked Portland restaurant Stanich’s as best burger in the country. Just a few months later, their doors were closed. The online praise brought long lines full of “one-time” customers, wait times topping two hours or more, and it seemed the restaurant just couldn’t keep up. Owner Steve Stanich said the best burger award was “the worst thing that ever happened to us.” So is there a way to praise a restaurant online without destroying what you love about it?
