Two Bills Look To Change Medical Marijuana In Washington

Mark via Flickr/Creative Commons

A new bill to be filed this week in Washington would attempt to significantly change the medical marijuana industry in the state. The bill would allow medical marijuana shops to sell edibles and concentrates, like oils, but prohibit the sale of dried bud. Another bill would eliminate the medical marijuana business entirely, instead folding it into the state’s new regulated recreational system.

We’ll talk about the implications of these bills with Hilary Bricken, an attorney at Harris Moure and editor of the Canna-law blog.
