Workplace Giving
Many community-minded companies in our region have employee giving campaigns during which employees can make a one-time gift to Oregon Public Broadcasting or give through payroll deduction. Many companies will even match employees' campaign gifts to OPB--some up to 100 percent. Please check with your human resources or payroll department to see if such a program exists at your workplace.
The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the largest workplace giving program in the world--for employees of the federal government, the postal service, and the uniformed services. Participants in the Combined Federal Campaign who would like to donate to Oregon Public Broadcasting should enter code "29242" on their pledge card. The Charitable Fund Drive and the Combined Fund Drive (CFD) provide the opportunity for Oregon and Washington state employees to give to their favorite charities.
Dollars can also be donated to Oregon Public Broadcasting through other workplace charitable campaigns such as United Way. These contributions are either one-time gifts or are fulfilled through payroll deduction, a program where employees choose specific amounts to be deducted from their paychecks and specific charities to receive their gifts. Code numbers vary among local chapters of the United Way. Please check with your workplace-giving administrator to ensure accuracy, and write Oregon Public Broadcasting on your pledge form.
