Caldera, Arts Education organization

Caldera is an innovative arts-education organization that combines classroom arts experiences with time at “camp” in Central Oregon.  Artists are invited from all over the world to work with at-risk students, introducing them to year-round art and environmental programs. Caldera’s mission - to be a catalyst for the transformation of underserved youth - was first established by Dan Wieden, of the well-known Advertising Agency, Wieden and Kennedy and continues to thrive as a positive, confidence builder for youth. Students who were at risk of dropping out of school, now graduate from high school, win college scholarships and even go back to work at Caldera.
