Sellwood Bridge Closed To All Traffic Through July 31

Commuters using the Sellwood Bridge are going to have to find another way across the river between Thursday and Sunday.

It’s closed to cars, as well as bikes and pedestrians.

Contractors are scheduled to pave the east approach, the interchange ramps and the through lanes of Highway 43 on the westside.

The consolation for those who’ve been waiting almost five years, the bridge should be completely finished by Thanksgiving.
