And And And in-studio, 12-2-10

Recording engineer: Steven Kray, with technical assistance from Bill Ward

One might say that upstart Portlanders And And And have enjoyed a reasonably successful first year of existence. They’ve been gaining a reputation for their raucous and energetic shows and mini-anthemic songs over the past year or so, particularly since most of them relocated from Eugene. In the process they’ve also managed to self-release six— count ‘em, six—  recordings (2 full-lengths, 4 EPs) of lo-fi, scattershot pop nuggets. Their latest, Life Ruiner, comes out on cassette(!) April 1.The sextet joins us join us for versions of songs from some of those releases, plus (not surprisingly) new material for a glimpse of the band everyone’s been talking about.
